Mary Grace and Steven have long enjoyed a fulfilling relationship.
Though constantly separated by distance and work commitments, they remained steadfast in their promises to each other.
This proves once again that love truly conquers the biggest of hurdles.
I have been approached by Mary Grace during our recent bridal fair and her story captured my attention.
She has longed for this moment since she and Steven started dating many years back.
She wanted a warm and intimate affair that celebrated not just their union as man and wife, but the entire Mc Kenzie and Porcalla family as well.
This young mother aimed for a simple ceremony by the garden fronting Manila Bay at Sofitel Philippine Plaza that incorporated color and whimsy.
She had her two young children in mind and a few other young members of the wedding party when she thought of the entire event’s appeal.
On top of pleasing a discerning Filipino crowd, we had to make this wedding’s aesthetic appealing to our Scottish guests too!
I pressed my kilt and started to work.
We selected a rainbow themed affair and incorporated Filipino elements in the design to make our foreign guests feel the warmth and hospitality of our fellow Pinoys when we do events here. The games at the reception party also reflected the fun-loving spirit of the bride and to boot, they even created a choreographed dance to liven things up at the reception. The Children performed for all the guests during the festivities and this made the program all the more enjoyable and personal.
It was truly an event to remember.
I partied alongside Mary Grace, Steven and their family as their joyous take on all of it proved quite inviting.
Thank you for making us part of your happy day.
It is a pleasure to create such a glorious family oriented affair.
