Rec is the brother of a close friend of mine from UP. We lovingly call him Kuya even if we are not actually related. Their mother Tita Expect has long been a supporter of her daughter and her friends’ endeavors and so we became quite close. When they asked me to help them plan Kuya Rec’s wedding, I immediately jumped at the chance for I would be in a privileged position to not only do well for a client, but more importantly for a friend.

I met him in one of our out of town trips to their lovely province where Kuya Rec is serving as a member of the local government. Not letting his family’s illustrious reputation surpass him, Rec struck me as an ordinary guy who just wanted to give his beloved a memorable affair. He wanted nothing but the best for every detail of this occasion. The sweetest bride ever, Hannah, was in constant communication with me throughout the process as she also desired to make this day as perfect as possible. Counting the many VIPs that occupied their guest list, the tension mounted as we drew closer to the big day.

This has to be one of the most challenging wedding I have encountered to date. I have to manage 450 guests, half of which are important members of Tiaong, Quezon’s social circle. Ingress started two days prior to the wedding and rounding up almost 120 suppliers in one encompassing venue meant full on multi tasking. I was up for it and so was my team. I devoted special attention to this demanding account, pouring in the company’s resources to answer every facet of the event.

Knowing full well what awaited me, I hired two teams per concern to carefully man all the prerequisites. I also enlisted the help of several trusted Tagaytay suppliers to assist my team in building the entire wedding from scratch in the rolling hills of Silang.

Despite the many tests posted on my team’s relative expertise, we were able to surpass the client’s expectations by way of sheer diligence.

I will forever be grateful for all the learnings from this account and I do hope I can apply this on future related events.

Thank you to the Baldeo, Baustista and Carolino family for all the trust and support. We wish you all the happiness and success in the world. We cannot wait to hear the pitter patter of little Recs or little Hannahs feet around soon. Bless you more!
